Bijoux Indiscrets – a European brand headquartered in Barcelona – was founded 13 years ago. Its creators, Marta and Elsa, had one dream: to create high quality lifestyle products for women and their lovers, designed by women.
And they did it. Not only has Bijoux Indiscrets become a well-known brand, but it has also been featured in the mainstream magazines such as Elle, Vogue, and GQ. This is quite a success if you think of it. Even though we are in 2019, talking freely and publicly about sexuality and dedicated products is still not so common and too often it’s not considered appropriate.

Designed by women for women (and their lovers)
As soon as you enter the website of Bijoux Indiscrets, you notice that they are raising the bar. Forget about awfully kitchy websites straight from the 90ies (yes, html sites loaded with gifs and impossible colour combinations – they still do exist unfortunately). Their website gives an instant “feel good” kick, with a subtle colour palette, an elegant choice of visuals and an easy navigation through their shop: sextoys, bondage inspiration, accessories, cosmetics and items dedicated to couples. You really have quite a choice here.
Bijoux Indiscrets have been so kind to send us two Kinky Boxes (one for us to review and one for the lucky one among you to win the contest) and several other items to evaluate. We have not been paid for this review, so all what we write is our simple and honest opinion about what we consider an interesting gift to spice up your already sparkling relationship.
12 iconic products to awake your inner sex goddess
The Kinky Box is their top of the line product, a selection of 12 items in a classy dark grey gift box. Once you open this 28×38 cm “book” weighing almost 2 kg, you are faced with a golden 12-day calendar. Do you remember those Advent calendars with chocolate you open while waiting for Christmas? We could call this an adult version of it.
Each “day” contains a surprise. If you are the patient type, you could open one window a day. The two of us, however, could not resist so we decided to open all the 12 little windows in one (exciting) evening, leading to a few interesting situations. Inside we found a carefully selected mix of items from their collections:
- MAZE: a tassel choker, garters and a belt for your underwear to take a wild walk outside or to visit an erotic party with a BDSM twist.
- FLASH: glittery nipple pasties cross-shaped, perfect for semi-transparent outfits or for playing striptease.
- DÉSIR MÉTALLIQUE: metallic jewellery-like black handcuffs and a collar (Arianna’s favourites in the box, head-to-head with the vibrating diamond) that can be worn for a romantic dinner ‒ and for a seducing after-dinner as well.
- MAGNIFIQUE: a whip-necklace and a back and cleavage chain, for a balanced mix of elegance and eroticism.
- A vinyl mask, a pom pom tickler and a silky ribbon that can be used to blindfold and to restrain.
- TWENTY ONE: the crown jewel of the box, a golden vibrating diamond with 3 speeds, 7 modes, and 3 different zones: the lateral edge works best on your labia minora, the upper part stimulates your labia majora and the rounded tip concentrates the pleasure on your clitoris and on your vaginal opening. Wow.
Our experience
We have tried a few of the items in the intimacy of our bedroom, and some other elegant accessories during one of our evenings out. The combination of handcuffs and the collar can give a hint of what the mind is hiding behind this innocent and sophisticated attire.
The nipple pasties are very comfortable to wear. Together with the vinyl mask and the choker, they make up a dark and hot outfit which could easily set you in an Eyes Wide Shut party (or a 50 Shades of Grey atmosphere, if you are into more recent cinema). The box contains so many interesting accessories that it’s easy to create your unique look for the night.
In our special “white chest of pleasure” we have a variegated selection of accessories, BDSM items, and toys. Some of the usual products you get from sex shops look and feel cheap.
